Ah, the 80's.....a time when electric guitars became sonic and visual works of art, and guitar players took their skill to a new level.

In the 1970s Kramer Guitars had moderate success with their aluminum neck guitars, but at the beginning of the 1980s the attitude and tastes of guitarists had changed.

The entire guitar world would be turned upside down by a dynamic team grasping to realize the change thrust upon them. Attempting to reinvent themselves, Kramer pioneered a new benchmark of style and form.  With Edward Van Halen as their premier endorsee, Kramer Music Products became the most celebrated guitar manufacturer in the world.

Whilst the overall content and format of the book is forthcoming, the intent is to provide stimulating commentary and information about the most unique guitar phenomenon of the 1980's.

If you have anecdotal stories, photographs, information, rare guitars, documents or other minutia, please contact the us for inclusion.
